  100. distributed  as shareware, which means that you may try  the
  101. software  before  you pay for it.  However,  you  must  stop
  102. using  Chinese Checkers and remove it from your computer  if
  103. you decide not to pay the license fee.

  129. We  at ImagiSOFT enjoyed creating Chinese Checkers.   David,
  130. is primarily responsible for Chinese Checkers.  He spent six
  131. tedious  months working in assembly language developing  the
  132. user  interface, and another four weeks  developing  Chinese
  133. Checkers itself.  One year later, David spent another  month
  134. implementing  the most often requested suggestions  for  our
  135. Deluxe Version 2.0.  Russ spent a week on the artwork --  we
  136. have  received  hundreds of letters applauding  his  talent!
  137. The  newest member of our team, Robert Allen,  composed  the
  138. music.   Our quality control people, Kathy, and Dorine  gave
  139. this  program  a thorough work out before they  signed  off.
  140. Mike coordinated this project and wrote the documentation.

  142. In  June  of  1992,  Chinese  Checkers  was  nominated   for
  143. "BEST NEW PRODUCT" and "BEST ENTERTAINMENT SOFTWARE" at  the

  177.                DISTRIBUTING CHINESE CHECKERS

  179. Anyone  distributing ImagiSOFT's Shareware Products for  any
  180. kind of remuneration MUST agree with the following terms and
  181. conditions prior to distributing them:

  183.    1. The  distributor recognizes that ImagiSOFT, Inc.  owns
  184.       all   rights  for  ImagiSOFT's   Shareware   Products,
  185.       including distribution rights.
  186.  
  187.    2. The  distributor  agrees  that  ImagiSOFT,  Inc.   can
  188.       withdraw  its  permission  to  distribute  ImagiSOFT's
  189.       Shareware Products at any time.
  190.  
  191.    3. When  requested to do so in writing by ImagiSOFT,  the
  192.       distributor agrees to discontinue distributing the old
  193.       version and begin distributing the new version of  any
  194.       ImagiSOFT product within sixty days.

  196.    4. The distributor agrees to use the name "ImagiSOFT"  in
  197.       all printed or electronic product descriptions.

  199.    5. The   distributor   will  attempt   to   educate   the
  200.       prospective  buyer about the shareware concept in  its
  201.       printed literature or packaging. These materials  must
  202.       inform  the user that if they find shareware  programs
  203.       useful,  they should pay the registration fee.  In  no
  204.       event will a distributor be allowed to state or  imply
  205.       that  the  user  is  "buying"  ImagiSOFT's   Shareware
  206.       Products or that ImagiSOFT's Shareware Products is  in
  207.       the public domain, or "free" software.

  209.    6. The   distributor   recognizes  that  its   right   to
  210.       distribute    ImagiSOFT's   Shareware   Products    is
  211.       nonexclusive.

  213.    7. ImagiSOFT  products  may  be  distributed  via  CD-ROM
  214.       provided  that the total cost for the CD-ROM does  not
  215.       exceed $.50 per shareware program.

  217.    8. THE  COLOR WIZARD may not be part of a magazine  cover
  218.       disk   without   express   written   permission   from
  219.       ImagiSOFT, Inc. or one of its licensed agents.

  221.    9. Distributors  may not manufacture, package,  vend,  or
  222.       distribute ImagiSOFT's Shareware Products in any  form
  223.       to  end  users for more than $10.00 per  copy  without
  224.       prior  written permission.  Retail Rack  vendors  must
  225.       sign a written agreement in any case.
